Mo Kamal’s solo gallery exhibition, OUTLANDS, is currently on display at The Empty Quarter Fine Art Photography Gallery in Dubai. The series is a collection of landscape and portraiture works that explore remote locations and rural outposts in China and the Arctic Circle. OUTLANDS focuses on the intersection of the natural world and human presence, spanning fishing villages, rugged mountain ranges, ice caves, and minority communities.
His large panoramic imagery is typically constructed from multiple exposures taken over a period of time, under dramatic skies and natural light. His portraits are an intimate examination of the lives of the elderly in their own homes.
Mo Kamal’s work has featured in international exhibitions and more recently in the final rounds of the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum International Photography Awards.
Mo lives in Dubai with his family. When not working with his camera, he looks after a research team at a regional investment firm. For prints and inquiries, please reach out to Mo through the contact form.
